Started Companion Dogs
What are Started Puppies?
Our started companion dog program is designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start through basic training and socialization, and temperament training. One of the easier ways to train a dog is to separate puppy skills and handler skills. Included with the adoption fee are Thera-Puppy handler skill classes, that anyone in the new puppy’s life is welcome to attend.
A good companion dog sits to say "Hello", is gentle with their people, and has self control. These started puppies are temperament trained from day three to build a resilient reaction to stress. They are also socialized to a variety of stimulus, including other dogs and people.
By beginning training and socializing early, we have developed foundation skills that serve pup and people for a lifetime.

Lasso
A Bold girl with high intelligence. She is a big player with a bigger heart! She likes other dogs, people and snuggles.

Tumbleweed
This sweet boy is a lover, not a fighter. Very affectionate, sensitive soul. He needs lots of snuggles.

Jersey
Jersey is a cautious girl who is eager to please. She prefers a calm, quiet environment. Jersey will be on the small side of the litter, definitely taking after the English Spaniel from her dad.

Stetson
This smart boy can be in a group or a single dog. He has a lot of confidence and a lot of charm. Pretty much first to do everything in the pack.

Arrow
Arrow is a reserved and shy girl. Her cautious temperament will need a quiet home with other well socialized dogs.

Reiner
This sweet, calm boy is highly social and tolerant of handling and big energy people.

Maple (adopted)
Maple (formerly Number 10) has found her forever name along with her forever home! She spent a little extra time on site while her new family came to classes with the Coach. She is adjusting well to family life with her new mom, dad and kids!

Dolly
Dolly is a tender heart. She likes to observe before joining the pack in big play. She is the earliest pup to have a gentle mouth when taking treats

Fletch
Big energy, highly social party girl. She is always in the middle of the fun! Fletch loves to run, wrestle, and follow her people around like a little shadow.

Bullseye
This little soldier likes to sit up straight and shake your paw at first greeting! He is a mellow, middle of the pack dog with a lot of potential. He would do well as either a single or with a pack.
